Can I just say how much I fucking love you guys?

When Kirley and I first started talking about this band, back when we were wee 11 year olds, did we ever think we'd end up here, with FIVE WUMAs?

I did.

This is a dream come true and the culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice, and we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for every single one of you. Without each of your instruments our sound wouldn't have nearly as much impact and our songs wouldn't sound so fucking awesome.

So thank you for coming on this magic carpet ride with Kirley, Donaghan and I.

Donaghan seems to think that because things have changed between you and I, that somehow he's not as important anymore. Which is total utter shit and I told him that, but I'm not sure he believes me. I told him this changed nothing, that we would walk over hot coals for him and nothing would ever change that. I don't know how to get through to him though, because despite what he says, I have a feeling he still feels left out. If he was bi, this would be so much easier. But he's not, so I guess we'll just have to deal with it as it is. Maybe there's some way we can show him how much he means to us. He thinks we need space, but like hell we need space at the expense of him and our friendship! Fuck. Why does this have to be so complicated? There is other stuff we have to talk about too, but Donaghan trumps it all. Nothing else matters if the three of us aren't solid.

Have you been listening to the WWN? Not only are they playing that new song, but they're also playing our other songs more frequently than they were before too. We need to jump on this bandwagon - fast. Gerald, can we get some recording time before we go on tour again? If we can record this as a single, we can record an album version of it later on when we work on the next album, but for now, getting an official version of that song out there seems like a good idea. Teenage girls lap that sort of song right up. We're going to get together at the rehearsal studio this week to thrash it out. I have it in my head, but I want to hear it and see what you lot can do with it. I want a really rich, deep, grounded sound to this song as befitting the lady it was written for. Therefore the main instrument in this song is going to be the cello (this is the song I was telling you about, Merton) combined with bass, and we'll also need piano, Giddy. It has a clarity that the keyboard doesn't. Drums, of course, and Kirley on the harp, not guitar. Heathcote, we can play around with a rhythm and see if it fits in, but Herman, the lute is too high a pitch for what I'm thinking for this song. What else have you got in your repertoire? On that note, anyone know where we can get a harp? ~~That fucker Nick Greengrass refused to play ball~~
